Murder on 34th Street (by Mariah Fredericks)

I am not sure what I was expecting when I opened up this book and got lost in the pages. This was a delightful holiday murder mystery that included the historical Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The background of the story is centered around Christmas festivities in the department store and had me wishing it was time to pull down my holiday decorations from the attic. Grace was a wonderful primary character, and I loved reading about her interactions with the many employees as well as customers at Macy’s. There is also a little romantic spark buried in the pages that will have you smiling. This is definitely one to put at the top of your list of books to read.
