The Second Ending (by Michelle Hoffman)

This book just did not do it for me. As a pianist, I thought I would enjoy the story. But, as another reviewer commented, it reminded me of Where’s Bernadette and I absolutely despised that book/movie. The characters were not well developed and I found myself forcing myself to read one more word on one more page. It just wasn’t worth the effort to get to the end. I struggled through, though, and can now say “I’ve been there; done that; and don’t recommend it.” But if you give this a try, I hope you enjoy it immensely more than I did.
