It is extremely rare for me to give a book only 2 stars. I did not feel connected to the characters. There were very dark and difficult topics discussed, including rape, mental illness, and cancer. There were way too many graphic sex scenes that left me feeling slimy. Not my cup of tea! Thank you to NetGalley and Treaty Oak Publishers for my advanced review copy.
