The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post (by Allison Pataki)

I was unfamiliar with who Marjorie Post was. But this was an interesting read and I was amazed at what she accomplished in a time when women had no rights. The author did an excellent amount of research. Marjorie Post’s generosity was astounding, and it was delightful learning how she was eventually able to take over the reins of General Foods. She demonstrated her intelligence by taking the company forward with great strides. She was an an amazing woman that, even with her accomplishments, her choice in men was not one of her positive traits. Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for my advanced review copy.
