The Hidden Storyteller (by Mandy Robotham)

I really enjoy reading historical fiction books. This one was a little different focus than I typically read in that it occurs after WWII has ended. You will be introduced to Hamburg, Germany and the despair that is being experienced postwar. The characters are well developed and the storyline moves at a fast pace which will keep you invested. This particular book includes thriller aspect as well as historical fiction. Though the serial killer focus in front and center, it also serves as a way to bring the main characters together. It was interesting to see how individuals adjusted to life after the war with the devastation surrounding them. A good addition to the genre with a little twist to allow you to get drawn into the story and held captive until the end.
