The Drowning Girls ~ Detective Josie Quinn #13 (by Lisa Regan)

Lisa Regan has done it again! She grabs my attention from the first word and has me holding on with both hands until the very end. The characters are well developed and I love observing the way their relationships are developing. The mystery will have you guessing until the end. Lots of twists and turns and moments that have you gasping in shock. This is a roller coaster ride of emotions and you won’t be able to stop reading until you have absorbed the last word, closed the book, and exhaled a sign of satisfaction. I strongly recommend going back to the first book in the series because there are so many aspects of the lives of the characters that build on each other and it helps to have the background. But even if you don’t have time to go back and read the first 12 books, this one is still worth reading as a standalone. Be prepared to be exhausted from a thrilling ride! Thank you to NetGalley and Bookoutre for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
