Once We Were Home (by Jennifer Rosen)

While I typically devoir books set during WWII, this one left me unsatisfied. The basis of the book should have been wonderful. However, it was not carried out well. The constant back-and-forth was confusing and disjointed. Way too many name changes and situations to keep track of made it difficult to comprehend. I appreciated the effort the author made but was left disappointed. Thank you to NetGalley and Flatiron Books for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
