Listen to Me ~ Rizzoli & Isles #13 (by Tess Gerritsen)

I have missed my time with Jane Rizzoli, a detective with the Boston police department, and Maura Isles, a medical examiner in the city. They are a wonderful duo and I love their interactions as they work to solve crimes. The characters are so well developed and I loved that this one focused more on Rizzoli’s mom, Angela. I can imagine having a busybody neighbor … or dealing with a mother who is too nosy. The crimes, the interactions between various characters, the twists and turns, and the shocking revelations at the end will have you turning the pages as fast as you can! Great addition to the Rizzoli and Isles series. I hope they’ll be back again soon. I’m ready for the next adventure.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
