Good Town (by Mary Louise Wells)

I enjoy reading historical fiction books and specifically those that are written during the time of WWII. This was a little different for me in that it focused on the life of a German family rather than someone from the Jewish population. It was interesting to examine the question of why ordinary German individuals did not fight against Hitler’s army and trying to stop the horrendous acts that were carried out. I found the storyline meandered too much and I struggled to stay focused and was not invested in the story at all.
