I enjoy the books in the Cajun Country series by Ellen Byron. I love the characters and the relationships between them. The drama that develops as you get invested in the story will have you flipping the pages as fast as possible. Unfortunately, this is supposed to be the last book in the series. Pelican is a town full of delightful people and I will miss the adventures they find themselves experiencing. Thank you to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books for my advanced review copy.
