A Scone of Contention ~ Key West Food Critic #11 (by Lucy Burdette)

I have enjoyed the books I have read in the Key West Food Critic series. Though I haven’t read all of them, I have bought every book in the series. This particular book was a delight to read because the majority of it took place in Scotland. The characters are well developed and you will love Hayley and her husband, Nathan, as well as their 80-plus-year-old neighbor, Gloria. There are lots of characters introduced but it is easy to keep up. There are twists and turns and multiple mysteries occurring … both in Scotland and the U.S. The sites the group visited and the foods they enjoyed had me ready to book a ticket on the next plane to Scotland. This is a great cozy mystery and I can’t wait for their next adventure. Thank you to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
