Under a Sky of Memories (by Soraya M. Lane)

I am a huge fan of historical fiction that is set during WWII. This book is based on a true story of which I was not familiar. The three main characters, Dot, Evelyn, and Vida, are nurses from the U.S. Their willingness to do whatever it takes to support their country in the fight against Hitler’s reign of terror leads them on a fearful journey. The romance focus did not detract from the intense danger they experienced. What an amazing tale of dedication, fear, agony, love, heartache, and suspense. I strongly encourage you to put this on your to-be-read list. Thank you to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
