Three Fudges and a Baby ~ Candy-Coated #12 (by Nancy Coco)

I am loving the Candy-Coated series by Nancy Coco. The characters are delightful and you will love them and relationships that have developed among the residents of Mackinac Island. I love the setting of the island and The McMurphy Hotel and Fudge Shop. And you can’t forget Allie’s sweet puppy, Mal. There are lots of twists and turns and working with Allie to help solve the murder so that her BFF’s doula, Hannah, can be out of jail in order to help Jenn through her delivery will take you on an emotional rollercoaster of a ride. While you could read this as a standalone, I strongly encourage you to go back to the first book and get to know the characters. This is definitely one to put one your to-be-read list so you can be craving a slab of delicious fudge and a visit to Mackinac Island.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Cozies for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
