The Whispers of Hideaway House ~ Hideaway House #2 (by Alexandra Barber)

I have thoroughly enjoyed the books I have read in the Hideaway House series. They are heart wrenching yet full of love, fulfilling relationships, hope, and healing. I have fallen in love with the characters. From Carrie to Guy, Jules, Lance, Rita, Erin, Tansy, the Major, as well as Eliza and Isaac, the resident spirits of The Hideaway House ... you will feel like you know them personally. After reading this series, I want to plan an escape to the Isle of Wight and a stay at the cottage to be surrounded by a community of individuals who care for and support each other. The author, Alexandra Barber, makes the setting and story come alive. The journey through the pages of The Whispers of Hideaway House will be an emotional one, but you will read the last word, close the book, and sign in contentment at the future of possibilities.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
