The Summer Everything Changed (by Siân O'Gorman)

I have been enjoying books that are written about life “across the big pond” from the U.S. the Fact this one took place in Ireland appealed to me. Unfortunately, I really struggled to get invested in the story. It moved too slowly and keeping up with characters made it difficult to care about them. It appears I am in the minority in my less than positive experience. So I would suggest you give it a chance to see if it appeals to you.
