The Stolen Letter ~ Scottish Bookshop #5 (by Paige Shelton)

What a delightful series. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the books and look forward to more adventures in Edinburgh, Scotland and the crew from The Cracked Spine Bookshop. Delaney and her new husband, Tom, have a wonderful relationship and I love observing their interactions with each other as well as those with whom they work. This particular story had two mysteries threaded through the pages ... both a murder mystery and an issue with code violations by the city council that will force the bookshop to close. The bit of history that is sprinkled throughout the book is informative and a nice addition to the typical cozy mystery. Paige Shelton does a wonderful job of creating characters you care about, a story that pulls you in and keeps you invested, and a setting that has you wishing you were on a plane headed to Scotland.
