The Secrets We Left Behind (by Soraya M. Lane)

Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres to read … especially when it is focused on WWII. This book provided a different aspect of that time period that I have not read about in the past. I continue to be amazed at what individuals were willing to do to thwart Hitler’s evil plot. The characters were well developed and the sheer courage demonstrated will bring you to tears. This is a definite read for people who enjoy this type of book. Thank you to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
