The Secrets of Good People (by Boo Walker)

After having finished the book, I have to say that I enjoyed “hearing” the history of the book and how it came to be written and published. This was definitely different than most of the Boo Walker books I have read in the past. I am a huge fan and while this was not the best one he has written (or co-written), it was still entertaining. The characters are well developed … though there are a lot of them. Keeping up with who belongs to who was a little challenging in the audiobook version. I imagine it would be easier to keep track in the printed version. The murder mystery was intriguing and kept me guessing until the end. I really hoped it was not who eventually admitted to committing murder.

This was a rollercoaster ride of emotions and kept you guessing as you “flipped through the pages.” Lots of secrets are revealed and complicated relationships are explored. This is definitely one to put on your to-be-read list. It is an easy read but will keep you entertained as you explore life on an island off Paradiso, Florida.
