The Seamstress of Auschwitz (by C. K. McAdam)

I love reading historical fiction books and especially those that take place during WWII. While I have read many books that are set in Auschwitz, I have not read many that cover the women’s camp at Ravensbrück. But what I have read describes the horrible experiences of the women who suffered in that concentration camp. I have also not had the opportunity to read about seamstresses and their responsibilities at both locations. This is an emotional story of loss, family, friendship, survival ... but most of all hope. The resilience and dedication of so many people who endured such terrors under the Nazi regime. While their family and lives are ripped apart at the seams, you experience the hope that carried them through the days with the anticipation of being able to survive the pain of heartache and loss.
