The River Whispers (by Deb Jordan)

A wonderful story of friendship and forgiveness. The characters are well developed and while I sympathized with Sasha’s struggles following the car crash and the loss of her ability to play the piano (I am a pianist), I am not sure whether forgiveness would be so difficult for me to give. I loved the setting of the vineyards of Australia. Definitely on my bucket list of places to visit!

There are so many emotions spread throughout the pages … betrayal, loss, grief, love, difficult relationships, forgiveness. You will be drawn into the story from the moment you open the book and begin reading the first page until you have absorbed every word and emotion until you close the book with a sigh. I was emotionally exhausted but in a positive way. This is definitely one I would encourage you to put on your to-be-read list. It is worth every second you spend with the characters and the twists and turns in suspense.
