I enjoy reading historical fiction books and especially those that take place during WWII. I enjoyed that this one was set in Paris during the war with some aspects of time in Germany. The characters are interesting as well as the relationship and rivalry between the two opera singers. This particular story will have you questioning what you would do to save your loved ones and what would you do to fight against a corrupt government.
