The Next Deadly Chapter ~ Mystery Bookshop #10 (by V. M. Burns)

This is the first book I have read in the Mystery Bookshop series by V. M. Burns. But it was such a fun read that I will go back and read the first nine books. I am just sad that it has taken me this long to discover this series. Though the 10th book, it still worked well as a standalone. I loved the characters! Between Samantha (Sam); her grandmother, Nana Jo; Nana Jo’s cohorts from the Shady Acres Retirement Village; and Detective “Stinky” Pitt, you are in for a fun adventure in the pages. The murder mystery will have you guessing who is guilty. And while I suspected the person who committed the murder, I was not completely positive I was right. You will find yourself chuckling at times as you quickly flip through the pages. This was definitely a perfect cozy mystery that left me entertained and looking forward to the next adventure in North Harbor, Michigan.
