The Naughty or Nice Clause (by Kate Callaghan)

The premise of this book caught my attention and I thought it had so much promise. However, I ended up not caring for it. For the romance to be such a big deal between Mason and Lyla, it didn’t feel genuine. The dialogue was lacking … just stilted and blah. I’m not a romance fan to begin with, but if it’s done right, then I can appreciate the story and the dynamics of the relationships, etc. Unfortunately, this one didn’t appeal to me. Though as someone who adores Christmas, the presentation of the magic of Christmas was entertaining.

Thank you to NetGalley and CallaghanWriter for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
