The Monday Night Heartbreak Club (by Jane Lovering)

This is the second book I have read by the author, Jane Lovering. Because I had enjoyed the first one, Once Upon a Thyme, I was looking forward to getting lost in the pages of this story. This book was a fun but heartwarming journey through the pages. While there are some serious issues discussed, the characters and the relationships that develop help lighten the mood. I particularly liked Fraser and his love for eating ... all the time ... and his unfiltered comments. He said what he wanted to say when he wanted to say it. There was no muffler on his mouth! This was a touching story of new friends, second changes, and romance while the difficult and sensitive matters were handled in an appropriate and sensitive manner.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
