The Lost Mother (by Catherine Hokin)

I am an avid reader of historical fiction books that are set during WWII. And when it is also a dual timeline, I am hooked. This was an emotional read. The focus of this book is different in that you get a glimpse of the fear the German citizens experienced. The twists and turns will take you along a journey where you will learn about aspects of WWII of which you may not know. The pages of this story are filled with love, heartbreak, strength, resilience, and dedication. Thank you to NetGalley and Bookoutre for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
