The Lost Girl of Seahaven (by Phillipa Nefri Clark)

This is the first book I have read in the Temple River series. But it will not be the last! I plan to go back and read the first four books. I love dual timeline books and this one pulled me in from the first page and I was invested in the story and the lives of the characters until I had absorbed every word and closed the book with a smile on my face. The characters are richly developed and I loved the setting. The story is an emotional read. But you will grow to love Angie, her grandfather, and Jack. I love books that present pieces of a puzzle that need to be fitted together to get the full picture. This book did this beautifully. A story of love, loss, family dynamics, history, regrets, and discoveries. Put this one on your to-be-read list!

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
