The Lady on Esplanade ~ Royal Street #3 (by Karen White)

I loved this third book in the Royal Street series by author Karen White. This one will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and wondering what creepy and mysterious incident will happen next. The characters will pull you into the story and the eerie and haunting moments will hold you captive. The description of the settings is so real, I could feel the hairs stand up on my arms. There are sad and emotional moments that touch your heart. The past and present are expertly explored. And a trip to New Orleans is always a treat and one I look forward to. Just wish I had a beignet and a glass with a Hurricane from Pat O’Brien’s to enjoy while on this wild ride with Nola, Beau, Jolene, and the real and spirit characters that will have you anxiously waiting for the next book in the series.
