The Girl with the Red Hair ~ Dutch Girls #2 (by Imogen Matthews)

This is the first book I have read in the Dutch Girls series by Imogen Matthews. I love reading historical fiction books and especially those that are set during WWII. This one was a different focus for me in that it took place in a town outside of Amsterdam. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and plan to go back and read the first book in the series and have already downloaded the next one. This is an emotional read that deals with love, loss, courage, family, selflessness, friendship., and heartache. I cannot recommend this book enough if you appreciate books in the WWII historical genre. Getting to meet Hannie and the rest of the resistance fighters will take you on a journey of bravery and heartache. No spoilers from me but you need to make sure you absorb every word until the very end!
