The Ghostwriter (by Julie Clark)

I am not sure I knew what to expect when I opened this book and got lost in the pages. I have enjoyed previous books by the author and was excited for the opportunity for a rollercoaster ride of suspense. Reading a Julie Clark book is like working a puzzle. There is the basis of a dysfunctional family, the history of trauma and tragedy, a current health crisis, and the untangling of clues. You will be absorbing every word, every emotion, every glimpse into the lives of Olivia and her father. There are so many layers to explore and it is worth every second you spend reading the book. I loved the multiple POVs and the author does an amazing job of keeping your attention and it was easy to follow the multiple time lines. I cannot wait to see what awe-inspiring read the author will gift us with for the next book.
