The Forger of Marseille (by Linda Joy Myers)

I really enjoy reading historical fiction books that take place during WWII. This book was a different focus than what I have typically read. While focused on WWII history, it also incorporates the story of a myriad of characters … father and daughter, those who are willing to fight against Hitler’s regime, romantic relationships. Between the horrors of war, you are treated to a glimpse of the positive things that happen during such difficult times … the relationships that develop, the way art is used in a positive way to affect the lives of many. The author has done a wonderful job with the research for this book and keeps the events as accurate as possible. This is definitely one to put on your to-be-read list.
