The Fatal Folio ~ The Cambridge Bookshop #3 (by Elizabeth Penney)

Though this is the first book I have read in The Cambridge Bookshop series, it will not be the last! I have already downloaded the earlier books as well as those that have been released since this one. And while I may have had to catch up a little, this one worked well as a standalone. The characters are well developed and I love the setting of Cambridge, England and both the Thomas Marlowe-Manuscripts and Folios bookshop and the estate her boyfriend, Kieran’s, parents reside. The book will draw you in and keep you invested in the story until the very end. Lots of twists and turns and clues that will have you guessing who is actually guilty of committing murder. Not only are you working alongside Molly and Kieran as they try to solve the murder mystery, but also the mystery behind the author, Selwyn Scott, and the “killer” book. So there are times you are reading a book within a book. That made me smile! This is definitely a series I will be reading again and cannot wait to find out what happens with the people in Cambridge, England!
