The Desert Flower — Mistletoe and Holly ~ The Desert Sage Inn #4 (by Judith Keim)

I have read several of the books in The Desert Sage Inn series. They are full of a lot of emotions. The focus on family and growing relationships is heartwarming. This is a quick read that will take you on a trip through the holiday season and observing the ladies opening their hearts to help those in need. The characters are so well developed and I absolutely fell in love with Benji. He is absolutely adorable and I wanted to be able to meet him in person so I could get a hug. By the end of the book, you will have faith in humanity again and believe that there is good out in the world. Thank you to NetGalley and Wild Quail Publishing for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

The Secret Librarian (by Soraya M. Lane)

I am a huge fan of historical fiction books and especially if they are set during the WWII timeframe. This particular story is different than those I typically read because it takes place in Portugal.
