The Country Road Murders (by James Patterson and Mike Lupica)

This is an edge-of-your-seat, hanging on by a thread, nail biting mystery thriller. Great characters, a wonderful well-related story, and nonstop thrills will have you flipping through the pages as fast as possible. I fell in love with Silas Tucker and his grandmother. I loved their relationship. There are so many things going on as you get sucked into the story ... from the loss of a lifelong dream, loss of special friends, murder, kidnapping, drug abuse, misuse of power, sex trafficking, the most precious dog ever with 9 lives. So much happens from the moment you open the book and get lost in the pages. I enjoyed the football references and the allegories that were used with the sport. James Patterson and Mike Lupica scored a touchdown with this book!
