The Barn Identity ~ House-Flipper #8 (by Diane Kelly)

I am loving the books in the House-Flipper series by Dianne Kelly. Any of the books I have not yet read have been added to my to-be-read list and I cannot wait to explore them. Whitney and Buck are a great pair to work together on flipping properties. The relationship as cousins is perfect … they support each other, but enjoy joking with each other as well. Their spouses are perfect touch and the way they love on each other is heartwarming. The murder mystery will grab you from the beginning and keep you invested in the story. I especially enjoyed this book because of the fact finding mission that Whitney took on. The background history of the barn was intriguing and I would love to come back and spend more time in the barn-turned townhomes. I am looking forward to the next adventure.

The Pearl Thief (by Fiona McIntosh)

I love reading historical fiction books, and especially if they take place during WWII. This one is an actual dual timeline book that covers both WII and the 1960s. This book is filled with love, loss
