The Amateur Sleuth's Guide to Murder ~ Bainbridge Island #1 (by Lynn Cahoon)

Lynn Cahoon has become one of my favorite cozy mystery writers. Each of her series are wonderful reads with a delightful cast of characters. I was thrilled to see she is releasing the first book in a new series. The characters are well developed and I am looking forward to spending more time with them through the pages of future books. The murder mystery will pull you into the story and have you working alongside Meg and her friends, Dalton and Natasha, in trying to scope out the person who committed the crime. I cannot wait for the next adventure with Meg and the people of Bainbridge Island, WA. Plus it will be fun watching the relationship between Meg and Dalton and see how it evolves.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Cozies for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
