Swine and Swindle ~ Ruff McPaw #12 (by Max Parrott)

I have read several of the books in this series and have enjoyed them immensely. In fact, I will be going back and reading earlier releases so I can get caught up on everything to do with Angela, her boyfriend, David, and her favorite sidekick, Ruff! What a delightful cozy mystery. The characters are well developed and I love getting to see the relationship develop between Angela and David as well as getting to know the people of Hummings Hollow. The mystery is set up well and you are treated to lots of twists and turns as you travel with Angela in trying to figure out who committed murder. I love the “thoughts” that Ruff expresses throughout the book. He has me chuckling and cheering him on as he works alongside of Angela in solving the murder. This is a great series and I look forward to more adventures with the gang.
