Sonora (by Jenni L. Walsh)

I love reading historical fiction books and recently have had the opportunity to read about some amazing women who have been hidden in the background and basically unheard of. Learning about high diving horse acts was astounding. Sonora is a young woman whose willingness to live an extraordinary life is captivating. The story will pull you in and keep you invested in the lives of Sonora and Al as well as Sonora’s sister. Through the excitement and fear of the high dive act, you will be flipping through the pages and cheering on Sonora. A story of determination, bravery, family and work relationships, and heartache, you will dive right into this book and experience the excitement and danger with Sonora.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
