Sky on Fire ~ No Man's Land #1 (by C. K. McAdam)

I love reading historical fiction books and especially when they are set during WWII. It has become increasingly difficult to find a book in this genre that covers a different as WWII that has not been covered thoroughly by other authors. However, C. K. McAdam has done just that! This book focuses on the lives of the people in Germany. Experiencing the war through the lens of a German family with a variety of perspectives was informative. From being the father of three boys who serve in the German army to being the father of two daughters … one of which has committed to serving as a nurse … will have you emotionally invested in the story. This is a novel of love, loss, war, hope, and determination. The sense of courage and dedication shines through.
