Pumpkin Spice Puppy ~ Melanie Travis #30 (by Laurien Berenson)

I have read a few of the books in the Melanie Travis series and have enjoyed them a lot. So I was excited at the opportunity to read the next book in the series. The dogs are just the highlight of the books and Melanie is a wonderful primary character. I don’t particularly care for Melanie’s aunt, Aunt Peg. But you always have to have a character that draws sucks the life out everything. I love the relationship Melanie and her husband, Sam, have as well as their two sons. In listening to the audiobook version, I love hearing the boys and their sweet voices. The murder mystery is handled well and you are given lots of twists and turns as you travel with Melanie through the pages and figure out who is guilty of murder. This is a delightful series in which to get involved and I encourage you to put it on your to-be-read list.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
