Out of the Dark (by Mandisa)

I absolutely love Mandisa’s music. When I hear a song pop up on the radio, I am filled with joy. The sincerity of her faith and the depth of her heart for God to be displayed through her music is evident. This book was a touching look into Mandisa’s past and her journey through many difficult moments. The lyrics to her songs that begin each chapter will have you singing the words (at least in your mind). The challenges for you at the end of each chapter encourage you to explore similar experiences or emotions you have personally had in your life. Thank you to NetGalley and K-Love Books for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
