Old Girls Go Greek (by Maddie Please)

I know that when I open a Maddie Please book, I will be in for an entertaining read. I cannot imagine going on a painting holiday, but the author had me wondering if that is something to put on my bucket list. I so admired Meg for being willing to step out of her comfort zone and take on a new challenge ... being open to new experiences. I loved journeying with Meg as she grew and began to blossom into a wonderful woman with a colorful life. One of the things I love most about this author’s books are that they focus on older women and prove that we still have a lot of life in us and so much more to do and experience. Great food and wine and relationships with the ability to embrace happiness after a difficult life experience which has you wanting to meet the “Old Ducks” and enjoy their moments of humor. I cannot wait for another delightful read by this author.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
