Nine Lives and Alibis ~ Cat Café #7 (by Cate Conte)

I have only read one additional book from this series ... the first one. But it was easy enough to pick up the 7th book and get lost in the pages. I love the characters and the relationships. Maddie James is a delight and her grandfather is a wonderful addition to the story. The mystery is well established and will have you invested in the book from the very beginning. Lots of twists and turns and the author has you continuing to guess “whodunit.” If you are a fan of cats, then this is definitely a series you need to start reading. And I would encourage you to start with the first book and read through them in order ... though you could read this as a standalone. Definitely one to put on your to-be-read list. I cannot wait to get lost in the next book in the series and will definitely be going back and reading earlier books as well.
