Murder Goes Solo ~ Piper Haydn Piano #1 (by Malissa Chapin)

I fell in love with Piper and her friend Roosevelt “Rosie.” Their friendship has you wanting that kind of relationship. And Piper’s family is so supportive … even in the midst of a little bit of controlling behavior. The murder mystery will pull you in from the very beginning and you will be hanging on and trying to guess who is guilty. I want to move to Cranberry Harbor, Wisconsin and get to know all of the people who call that home. There are some quirky personalities, but you will find yourself wanting to meet everyone! The author does a wonderful job of incorporating music and faith and that was such a positive aspect for me. As a church pianist, I could understand the aspects of Piper’s life as the owner of an arts academy and how God was a primary part of her life. The often said prayers made me realize how much I do the same thing. I am constantly asking God for guidance, peace, assistance, and thanking Him for His care. This was such a nice clean cozy mystery with heart and soul. A story of friendship, family, forgiveness, and faith. You will close the book with a smile on your face and be excited to get lost in the next adventure with Piper and Rosie. I can’t wait! Thank you to the author and Ivory Keys Press LLC for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
