I agree with several of the reviews. This was an amazing story but told in such a way that it did not deliver it in a way that grasped your attention. I wanted to be moved by the stories of the boys and their lives following such a harrowing experience. Unfortunately, there were too many names and the depth of emotion was too shallow. I appreciate the research the author did and the boys’ resilience and determination.
