Grounded for Good ~ Patty Byrne #5 (by Carly Winter)

The Patty Byrne series by the author, Carly Winter, has become one of my favorites. I look forward to the opportunity to read the newest release as soon as it is available. The characters bring the books to life. It is entertaining to experience the life of a stewardess in the 1960s. The clean setting and societal expectations of the time period are refreshing. As always happens, Patty is pulled into a murder investigation but this one is a more dangerous setting than she typically experiences. I love the interactions between Patty, Bill, Donna, and Tommy. There is danger, intrigue, romance, Mardi Gras excitement, and lots of twists and turns that will have you holding your breath while flipping the pages quickly to get to the final reveal. And it was a big surprise! Plus the ending sets things up so that you will be anxiously waiting for book 6 to be released. I can’t wait! I am ready to soar off into another adventure.
