Grandma Ruth Doesn't Go to Funerals (by Sharon J. Mondragón)

ree

I know that every time I pick up a book by Sharon Mondragón, I am in for a delightful treat. Her gift with words touches me and I find myself laughing, being challenged spiritually, and filled with a sense of joy. A story of family, traditions, love, loss, humor, and faith, this is a delightful ride as you travel with Grandma Ruth and Sarah as they work together to solve a mystery. You will feel like you know the characters personally and you will become invested in their lives ... especially the love lives of several. One thought will stay with me now that I have absorbed the last word and closed the book with a sigh of happiness and contentment ... “God was indeed too big—too big for me ever to have imagined what he had in store for me.” You need to grab this book today and get lost in the pages and the small town antics with Grandma Ruth.
