Four Leaf Felony ~ Holiday #1 (by Tonya Kappes)

This was a delightful book to start the Holiday book series. I love that the focus was on St. Patrick’s Day and the activities that were held in Holiday Junction were over the top! The main character, Violet, is a little irritating. But by the end of the book, you could see her developing, maturing, and facing reality. Lots of suspects to be investigated, lots of quirky characters to entertain you, and lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing. I will be looking forward to reading the next book in this series and to see what happens with Violet.

I highly recommend this book and new series to all my cozy loving friends especially if you like stories set around the holidays.

The Pearl Thief (by Fiona McIntosh)

I love reading historical fiction books, and especially if they take place during WWII. This one is an actual dual timeline book that covers both WII and the 1960s. This book is filled with love, loss

Remain (by Nicholas Sparks and M. Night Shyamalan)

As I opened this book and started reading, I expected some of the M. Night Shyamalan suspense and spine-tingling moments. To say I was disappointed is a gross understatement. I could not get invested
