Formal Fatality ~ Cat Latimer #10 (by Lynn Cahoon)

Once again Lynn Cahoon pulled me into the book and kept me hooked until the very end. I love the characters in the Cat Latimer series and small town in Colorado. Between Cat, Sean, Shauna, and Uncle Pete and the writers who attend the retreats every month, you are treated to a delightful story that has lots of twists and turns and multiple mysteries to solve. I have to admit that the food Shauna feeds everyone at the retreat house, my mouth waters throughout the whole book. I want to find someone like her to cook for me! Though Cat prefers to getting lost in writing her books, she does a wonderful job of working with the writers at the retreat to help them hone their talent and how to get their books published. It is a wonderful source of information in addition to a fun mystery. I look forward to spending more time with Cat and the gang!

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
