For Malice and Mercy (by Gary W. Toyn)

I enjoy reading historical fiction books, especially those set during WWII. This book focused on a different aspect of the war. I was aware of the internment of Japanese Americans in camps as well as German POWs housed in camps in the U.S. However, I did not know that thousands of German Americans were sent to internment camps and later sent back to Germany. The author did a great deal of research and I appreciated the notes at the end of each chapter. Thank you to NetGalley and American Legacy Media for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
