Everything's Coming Up Rosie (by Courtney Walsh)

I loved the time I spent in the pages of Everything’s Coming Up Rosie. The book is full of delightful ... and a few less than delightful ... characters. As I lost myself in the story, it made me wonder how often we make our lives look better, more glamorous, richer, full of love than it really is. For those of us who struggle with self-esteem issues, this book will hit close to home. Experiencing Rosie’s struggle to be who she wants to be and how she feels inept compared to her girlfriends will make your heart ache.

And Booker. He was hands down an amazing young man. Are there really men like him out there?

So many of the side characters added such depth to the story. Arthur, Bertie, Daisy, the residents of Sunset Hills retirement community will have you putting your house on the market and ready to move to Wisconsin. A light rom-com that also delivers a lot of personal growth among several characters as well as a sense of family and new sense of self-worth. This book is one you will enjoy while wiping away a tear or two.
